Everyone on the team is responsible for reducing GHG and moving emissions towards net zero. Statista reported the UK construction industry produced 12.5m metric tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions in 2019. Since 1990, UK construction industry CO2 emissions have increased by 45%. As a result, the UK government has announced new Building Regulations (Part O) to cut CO2 emissions by 30% on new builds by June 2022.Read more…
